The Drava River, after a long and sometimes challenging journey, starts at its source in Italy and finally reaches the Danube near Kopački Rit. This is the heart of the secret realm of riparian forests, stretching along the Mura, Drava and Danube rivers, creating Central Europe’s largest contiguous wetland.
