Does the mayfly live in the Danube? The answer is clear to those who know that the mayfly is not a river plant. Since 2012, we have been able to admire the mass emergence of a mayfly species related to the Tisza mayfly at the end of summer along the Danube. However, no one has yet confirmed its permanent presence in the Budapest stretch of the river. During our exploratory journey, we will find the answer to this question, and as a bonus, we will also witness the birth of a new mayfly-saving wonder device.
